Hey Everyone..Can I tell you..the pictures really do not do “Dylan” justice.  It’s Georgous. The shape, the color, the detail, the hardware…ok can you tell…I LOVE IT !! of course I really would love to keep it..but The “Boss” said we have to sell it…so here it is.  $300.  This piece would be great in an entry way, in a dining room, a bedroom or as a tv console.  It can really go just about anywhere.

If you want to get this look on a piece you are painting, here are the details…

The bottom was painted in “gold infusion” by valspar from lowes (it is a light green color color).  Then it was slightly distressed, and glazed (combined clear glaze from valspar with the same stain that was used on the top of the piece – dark walnut).  When mixing the glaze we don’t really measure, but it is about 3 parts glaze to 1 part stain.  So, you will just have to play with this.

The top is stained dark walnut and then has a layer of wax to help protect it.
